Lids and bases	By their nature, all wooden lids and bases are unique and characterised by minor imperfections such as scratches, dimples, unevenness, and inconsistencies in colour. Because of this, we are unable to guarantee that the lid and base delivered are exactly the same as those shown in our photography.
Paintable wood	The 'paintable' aquarium, for painting in your own exact colour, requires that the lid and base be painted exactly in accordance with the instruction manual, which includes using a spirit based lacquer or similar water resistant finish.

Seemed quite expensive but well worth it when set up. You can definitely tell it’s better quality than most mass-made aquariums, at least the ones I’ve seen in store. Recommended!

This fish tank is virtually silent compared to our previous biorb as the pump is sealed in the base. This was a big relief as norrom advertise as such on the website. As for everything else our fish seem to love it and the tank helps give our whole living room a premium feeling as it fits perfectly alongside all our dark mangowood furniture.

It looks lovely when set up and stands out compared to the fish tanks in the stores. You are also able to buy cheap filter accessories from any fish shop, for example the tank uses generic ceramic rings, carbon pellets, a standard biorb air stone (!), standard air tubing and valve, standard pump etc etc. You dont need to buy Norrom’s service packs so although over all a bit more expensive upfront, it seems like it will be much cheaper to maintain in the long run.

It is indeed a very nice aquarium and everything that I had hoped for. It did take a few days to come which is why I took away one star but all in all our buying experience was excellent and the aquarium was worth the wait!
